Man killed in car crash involving deer identified by coroner
The Clay County Coroner has identified the 55-year-old man who tragically lost his life in an accident involving a deer that crashed through his vehicle's windshield. The incident occurred on State Road 46 near County Road 200 East in the early hours of October 30. According to Clay County Sheriff Brison Swearingen, the deer collided with the vehicle, resulting in the tragic death of William Waggoner Jr. The Clay County Sheriff’s office, along with other emergency response teams, responded to the scene.
