Man in Prince George’s County faces multiple charges for fatal crash that took a child's life

A man from Capital Heights is facing numerous charges, including vehicular manslaughter, after allegedly causing the death of 3-year-old Zoey Harrison in a police chase. State's Attorney Tara Jackson announced the charges during a press conference in Upper Marlboro. Jackson expressed deep sympathy for Zoey's parents, emphasizing that the tragic incident should never have occurred. Larry Naylor fled from police during a traffic stop on March 7, resulting in multiple collisions that led to Zoey's death. Prince George’s County Councilwoman Krystal Oriadha is striving to introduce legislation for stricter guidelines on police pursuits and harsher penalties for evading police. Naylor's trial is scheduled for February 2026, and he is currently being held without bond after his indictment on Friday.
