Man gets 3-6 days in jail, 18 months probation for deadly North Versailles crash.

Aaron Butler, who was accused of causing a fatal crash in North Versailles last year, has recently received a sentence of less than a week in jail as well as 18 months of probation. He faced charges including homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, DUI, and speeding following a tragic accident that claimed the life of Tammy Chonko. Witnesses reported that Butler was speeding and swerving through traffic before the collision. Chonko later passed away at a nearby hospital. Butler was driving at 90 miles per hour and had THC in his system at the time of the crash. Recently, he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving, careless driving, and speeding violations. The homicide by vehicle charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement. Butler's sentencing also included a $1,000 fine and 50 hours of community service.
