Man from Ravena facing charges after car hits 11-year-old pedestrian

A man from Ravena is facing charges after a car-pedestrian incident that left a child injured in April, as per the Coeymans Police Department. The 23-year-old Cameron Biles has allegedly been charged with driving while impaired by drugs. Authorities responded to the crash on Main Street in Ravena, discovering an 11-year-old victim who was then taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Initially, it was revealed that the child entered the road and was hit by Biles' vehicle traveling west. Biles cooperated with the investigation and was found to be driving with a Learners Permit under supervision. Following evaluation and chemical testing, he was charged with alleged DWAI. Biles has been issued an appearance ticket for further legal proceedings.
