The 68-year-old man driving the red, extended-cab truck was unable to stop at the intersection of Ward Basin Road and Fish Camp Road. Despite efforts, the truck ended up in the river and submerged after floating about 500 feet westward. Regrettably, the man was unable to escape the vehicle. At present, his identity has not been disclosed by authorities.
