Man from Knoxville found guilty in DUI crash resulting in pedestrian's death, injury
A man from Knoxville is facing a potential 10-year prison sentence after being found guilty of several charges, including vehicular homicide, related to a crash in August 2022 that resulted in one person's death and another's serious injury. Kenyan Roshad Warren, 46, was convicted by the Knox County District Attorney Charme Allen's office after a trial lasting five days. The incident occurred on North Broadway when Warren struck two pedestrians with his vehicle. One victim, Stephanie Llewellyn, sadly passed away, while the other suffered severe injuries. Witnesses reported that Warren was under the influence and exhibited additional concerning behavior at the scene. He is scheduled for sentencing on August 20, and prosecutors are seeking consecutive sentences that could result in a total of up to 10 years in prison. Allen emphasized the importance of holding impaired drivers accountable for their actions.
