Man from Jurupa Valley arrested for deadly crash due to gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI

A man from Jurupa Valley was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after a collision early Saturday morning resulted in the deaths of at least two individuals and injuries to others. The incident occurred at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Beach Street around 2:50 a.m., prompting a response from Jurupa Valley deputies. The crash involved two vehicles, including a van with multiple passengers who were not properly restrained. Two passengers in the van were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van, identified as Bryan Cruz-Arenas, 23, was subsequently taken into custody and booked on charges including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
