Man from Gibsonton charged with DUI crash leading to death of 8-month-old infant
A man from Clearwater has been taken into custody and charged with DUI following a collision that resulted in the tragic death of an 8-month-old infant. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that Antonio Bravo, 32, was driving his Chevy Silverado on US-19 when he failed to stop as traffic slowed down near Flora Ave. His vehicle crashed into the rear of an Audi sedan, leading to the fatal injury of the baby seated in the back. The infant, who was in a car seat, was rushed to a nearby hospital but sadly did not survive. It was later revealed that Bravo's blood alcohol content was 0.089 at the time of the incident.
