
Man from Creston dies after leading authorities in a pursuit.
A man tragically lost his life in Iowa after initiating a chase with authorities. According to the Iowa State Patrol crash report, the pursuit began around 1 p.m. on Sunday in Union County. Creston police attempted to apprehend Tony Fizer, 55, within town limits, but he fled onto Highway 34 heading east. Near Afton, Fizer lost control of his vehicle while navigating a curve, resulting in a fatal accident. Sadly, Fizer was ejected from the car during the crash as he was not wearing a seatbelt.
