Man from Billings passes away after rollover accident
A 53-year-old man from Billings has tragically passed away following a rollover accident near Ballantine. The incident occurred on June 21 late in the evening at the intersection of Highway 312 and South 18th Road, as reported by the Montana Highway Patrol. The man was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck heading east on the highway when the vehicle veered off the road to the right, hitting a culvert and subsequently flipping multiple times after becoming airborne. Sadly, the driver was ejected from the truck and succumbed to his injuries at a Billings hospital. Authorities suspect that alcohol and drugs might have played a role in the crash, but the man's identity has not yet been disclosed.
