Man from Apopka experienced health issue prior to deadly Hillsborough accident
A man from Apopka, aged 54, passed away after experiencing a medical emergency while driving and crashing his car on Saturday morning. The incident occurred on I-4 near Branch Forbes Road in Hillsborough County around 10 a.m. After suffering a medical issue, the man lost control of his vehicle and hit a guardrail. The car then veered onto the highway, crossed the shoulder, hit an embankment, went airborne, and flipped over into the nearby trees. Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities are still investigating the details of this tragic crash.
