Man fatally injured in accident falling from roof in Cambria County
A man in Cambria County tragically passed away over the weekend after a fall from a ladder while working on a roof. Coroner Jeff Lees confirmed the incident involving Robert Maticic, 54, who was installing a snow guard on a garage roof in Summerhill Township. After falling approximately 15 to 20 feet onto the driveway, he was found unresponsive by family members who immediately called for assistance. Maticic was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner determined the cause of death to be blunt-force head injuries from the accidental fall.
