Man Faces Charges for Deadly Accident on Trimmer Springs Road in Fresno County
Luis Estanga, a 40-year-old DUI suspect from Fresno, is set to appear in court today facing charges including felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence in connection to a deadly crash on Trimmer Springs Road in Fresno County. He is currently in custody at Fresno County Jail in lieu of a $163,500 bond. The incident occurred on June 14th when Estanga, allegedly speeding in a white GMC pickup truck with four passengers, veered off the road, resulting in the death of one passenger, Cristian Jaime, 46. Three others sustained minor to moderate injuries. Estanga, who was seriously injured, was first airlifted to a hospital and later transferred to jail.
