Man dies on Easter after crashing into pole, parked cars in Tuscarawas County: OSHP

**Related Video Above: OSHP stats for 2024 GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) -- A man died following a single-vehicle crash in Tuscarawas County over the weekend, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. The man was driving a Chevy pickup truck Saturday on State Route 39 in Goshen Township around 5:30 p.m. when troopers said he traveled off the road, running into a utility pole and a couple of parked vehicles. Authorities arrived on the scene to offer aid, identifying the man as 58-year-old William Oiler of Bowerston. Troopers said Oiler was transported to the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital for treatment after first arriving at the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital. He was declared dead on Sunday. It is not clear what led to the crash, and the investigation is still ongoing.
