Man dies days after crash in BMW plant parking lot
GREER, S.C. (WSPA) - A pedestrian has died days after being hit by a car in the parking lot at the BMW Manufacturing plant in Greer. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office identified 35-year-old Chris Pedraza, of Boiling Springs, as the victim of the fatal crash that occurred on Monday, April 14. On the day of the incident, Pedraza was taken by EMS to Spartanburg Medical Center for treatment. He succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, April 24. A forensic examination has been scheduled for Friday, according to the coroner. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
