
Man dies after head-on crash in Sacramento County involving dump truck
A 40-year-old man died Thursday morning after a head-on crash involving a sedan and a dump truck in Sacramento County, officials said. Emergency medical services were dispatched around 5:56 a.m. to Elder Creek Road and South Watt Avenue. It was unclear what caused the crash. A 40-year-old man with injuries was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to dispatcher radio communications.
