Man charged with kidnapping and causing fatal crash in OKC
A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of abducting a woman and causing a fatal collision that claimed the lives of two individuals on Friday in northeast Oklahoma City. Police responded to a serious car crash involving multiple vehicles near East Wilshire Boulevard and Katherine Place around 2:45 p.m. that day. Upon arrival, they discovered two deceased victims in different vehicles, with significant damage and debris strewn across the road visible from aerial footage. The deceased have been identified as Jonathan Wooldridge, 31, and Sierra Gamble, 30. Initial investigations suggest that the collision may have been a deliberate act by one of the drivers, who sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital. The suspect reportedly assaulted Gamble, then fled with her in his vehicle, eventually causing the fatal crash by swerving into oncoming traffic. The suspect faces charges of two counts of first-degree murder and one count of kidnapping, although formal charges have not been filed yet, withholding the suspect's identity. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the Oklahoma City Police Department's homicide tip line at 405-297-1200.
