Man charged in July fatal crash involving motorcycle
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- A man has been charged in a fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred in July 2024. Officers from the Susquehanna Regional Police Department responded to the intersection of Anderson Ferry Road and Ore Mine Road in East Donegal Township for a vehicle crash on July 7, 2024, police said. The driver of an Oldsmobile Ciera, Gabriel Sullivan, was traveling westbound on Anderson Ferry Road when he crossed into the Eastbound lane while turning onto Ore Mine Road, police said. While turning, Sullivan collided with a motorcycle traveling eastbound and a Ford Bronco as he continued onto Ore Mine Road. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Kyle Costrello, died after being ejected from his motorcycle, according to police. Sullivan and the other driver were unharmed. Sullivan was charged with careless driving resulting in unintentional death after an investigation by the police and the Northwest Lancaster County Crash Team, per police.
