Man charged in fatal crash arrested by Albuquerque police
Albuquerque police apprehended Nickolis Taber, aged 31, for his involvement in a fatal pedestrian accident on Thursday morning. Officers were called to the site of the incident near Central Ave. just west of San Mateo Blvd. at 3 a.m. Investigators found that a pedestrian was struck by a Mazda truck, leading them to identify Taber as the suspect. Taber is facing charges for fleeing the scene of a collision resulting in serious injury or death.
