Man accused of DUI in fatal pedestrian crash
A man has been apprehended and charged with driving while intoxicated following a tragic incident involving a pedestrian and multiple vehicles on August 30 at approximately 11:36 p.m. The Austin Police Department reported the occurrence in the 6100 block of North I-35 southbound, where the pedestrian sadly lost their life. The arrested individual, Jarrel A. Broussard, is facing the charges related to the incident. Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the deceased.
