Man, 27, nabbed in Sacramento DUI accident that claimed 3 lives

A 27-year-old man has been charged with serious DUI offenses following a tragic crash in Sacramento that resulted in the deaths of three individuals earlier this month. Christian Garcia was apprehended and placed in the Sacramento County Main Jail on August 7th, according to Sacramento authorities. The incident occurred in the early hours of August 2nd when police responded to a collision between a truck and a vehicle at Roseville Road and Connie Drive. Unfortunately, the car caught fire immediately and despite their efforts, officers were unable to put out the flames. Two passengers from the car and a third person who was ejected from the vehicle lost their lives. The deceased victims were identified by the Sacramento County coroner as Mohammad Durrani, 22, and Hashmatullah Durrani, 24, both from Sacramento, and Omar Durrani from Fremont. The truck driver was hospitalized before being taken into custody.
