
Madison townhomes evacuated due to car collision
In Madison, Tennessee, emergency crews are currently focused on shoring up the stability of a row of townhomes following a car accident. A vehicle collided with the townhomes on Williams Avenue, causing damage to two garage doors and a section of a shared wall. As a precaution, five attached homes had their power disconnected due to safety concerns. Firefighters are on site placing supports to prevent any further issues. Occupants were allowed to retrieve personal belongings with assistance from the Red Cross. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the crash is still being investigated.
