Lonnie Quinn back at CBS NY after accident rehab

We're excited to have Lonnie Quinn return to CBS News New York as the chief weathercaster after taking a break to recover from an accident. Lonnie received a warm welcome from his colleagues with hugs and applause when he walked back into the newsroom. Upon his return, Lonnie expressed his gratitude, saying, "I missed you guys more than you know. It's these moments like this that just warms your heart and you think 'I work with good people.'" Lonnie's absence was due to a significant head injury that was initially diagnosed as a concussion but was later revealed to be a traumatic brain injury requiring six to eight weeks of rest and relaxation. We're thrilled that Lonnie has recovered and has rejoined the team.
