Long Island woman killed in head-on collision with suspected drunk driver
A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday night when a woman lost her life in a collision with a suspected drunk driver on Long Island. The crash took place shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Seaman's Neck Road near St. James Catholic Church in Bethpage. The driver, identified as 54-year-old Joseph Curto from Seaford, was reportedly traveling the wrong way and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old woman, who tragically passed away at the scene. Curto has been arrested and charged with DWI, and he is currently in critical condition at the hospital.
