London man facing 3rd DUI charge following accident injuring him
A 47-year-old man in London is facing his third DUI charge following a vehicle crash where he sought help at a nearby home while intoxicated. Brandon Michael Thompson was arrested after deputies responded to a complaint on Rough Creek Road. Upon arriving, they found Thompson with slurred speech and lethargic behavior. Thompson had been in a car accident and requested an ambulance. Deputies determined he was under the influence after conducting an investigation. His vehicle was later found in a ditch with damage. Thompson was treated for injuries and then charged with his third offense of operating a vehicle under the influence before being taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
