Live Stream: Deadly accident shuts down northbound I-15 at 600 South
Drivers heading north on Interstate 15 should steer clear of the vicinity near 400 South due to a serious collision that resulted in a fatality. The Utah Highway Patrol shared with FOX 13 News that the incident involved a fatal rear-end accident, where a Jeep collided with the rear of a pickup truck, ultimately causing the death of the Jeep's male driver. While the identity of the Jeep driver has not been officially disclosed, it is known that he was an adult man. The driver of the truck is present at the scene and is actively assisting the authorities with their investigation. As of shortly before 9:00 a.m., three lanes on the northbound side have been reopened, although delays are to be expected during the morning commute stretching as far down as Sandy.
