Lawsuit Filed Against McLaren for Snowmobile Incident
One of my cherished memories from a few years ago involves driving a McLaren 750S on El Mirage Dry Lake in Southern California, reaching a speed of 200 mph during golden hour. I have always admired McLaren's supercars for their exceptional performance and design, which have been regarded by Motor1 as the best in the world. However, McLaren is currently facing a lawsuit due to a snowmobile incident during one of their Arctic experiences in Finland. Andrew Cannestra, along with his partner, participated in the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience in 2020, where unfortunately a snowmobile accident occurred resulting in severe injuries for Cannestra. While he claims negligence and breach of contract, McLaren and the local guides defend the safety measures taken during the excursion. This incident has brought to light the importance of assessing risks and ensuring participants have proper training and guidance in such extreme activities.
