Las Vegas police: Family disturbance leads to crash near freeway
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A woman was hospitalized after a dispute in a vehicle with a man in the far southwest valley, according to Las Vegas Metro police. On Thursday, around 1:55 p.m., a 911 caller reported that a man was hitting a woman inside a vehicle near the 12700 block of Blue Diamond Road, police said. When officers arrived in the area, they attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver did not stop for police. The vehicle was later involved in a crash near the 215 and Sahara Avenue. The suspect fled the scene and has not been located by police. The woman was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Traffic is being impacted due to this investigation; drivers are asked to avoid the area.
