Lake Charles resident dies in Iberia Parish car crash
A fatal crash in Iberia Parish has resulted in the tragic death of a man from Lake Charles. The incident occurred early yesterday morning on U.S. 90 near Neco Town Road. Louisiana State Police reported that Waddell Mulmore, aged 58, lost his life in the two-vehicle collision. After an inquiry, it was discovered that Mulmore was driving a GMC Sierra on U.S. 90, heading west. Simultaneously, a Nissan Murano was traveling in the opposite direction in the left lane. The GMC veered off the road, crossed lanes, and collided with the Nissan after attempting to correct its course. Unfortunately, Mulmore, who was not wearing a seatbelt, passed away at the crash site. The driver of the Nissan, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained severe injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
