Kylian Mbappé death hoax debunked

A false rumor circulating on Facebook falsely claimed that Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé was involved in a car accident following his team's win over FC Barcelona. The post, shared by the VAR South Africa page, alleged that Mbappé's car was struck by another vehicle an hour after the match. However, there is no evidence to support this claim, and Mbappé is safe and sound. The French forward debunked the death hoax by sharing Instagram Stories celebrating the victory. This is not the first time fake rumors about Mbappé have spread on social media platforms like Facebook. Previously, the player was hospitalized for acute gastroenteritis in June, causing him to miss a match against Al-Hilal in the FIFA Club World Cup. Real Madrid provided updates on Mbappé's health and confirmed that he was discharged from the hospital and returned to training. Recently, Mbappé sustained an ankle injury while playing for the France national team but has now recovered and played in Real Madrid's match against Getafe.
