KSP probing fatal collision in Barren County
Kentucky State Police are currently looking into a fatal collision that occurred on June 23rd on Edmonton Road in Barren County. The crash took place just after 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop. Initial findings from the investigation indicate that an 82-year-old man named James Deichmueller was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue southbound on Veterans Outer Loop when he disregarded a traffic signal and struck a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado operated by 51-year-old Charles Davis, who was traveling westbound on Edmonton Road. Deichmueller was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries. The Kentucky State Police are continuing their inquiry into the incident.
