KSP looks into Deadly Accident in Carroll County
A multi-vehicle collision on I-71 in Carroll County, Kentucky resulted in a fatality this morning. The incident involved a 2016 Ford C-Max driven by Cassandra Walker, 75, from Nashville, TN, which rear-ended a 2014 Ford F-250, driven by Ricky Woods, 65, from Turners Station, KY. After the collision, Walker's vehicle struck a disabled commercial motor vehicle on the right shoulder. Cassandra Walker tragically passed away at the scene, confirmed by the Carroll County Coroner. The Kentucky State Police Post 5 Accident Reconstructionist is conducting an ongoing investigation.
