KSP investigates fatal 3-vehicle crash in Harlan County
HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Kentucky State Police in Harlan County is investigating a three-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon. KSP received a call shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 about a three-vehicle crash in the Hiram community of Harlan County. One driver was flown to Johnson City Medical Center with serious injuries, while the driver of the second vehicle was taken to Harlan ARH for treatment. The driver, 45-year-old Ashley Toll of Baxter, of the third vehicle, was flown to Harlan ARH with life-threatening injuries. She later died from her injuries. A reconstruction of the crash is ongoing, and KSP detectives are continuing the investigation.
