Knoxville Police investigating fatal pedestrian crash on North Broadway
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle on North Broadway at Atlantic Avenue. The Knoxville Police Department is investigating the crash and working to clear the scene. KPD added that the involved vehicle remained on scene. Broadway is closed between Atlantic Avenue and Chickamauga Avenue due to the crash. The public is asked to find alternate routes. This is the second time this month as pedestrian has been hit on North Broadway near AtlanticAvenue. On April 12, an 8-year-old child was struck by a car. He received serious injuries.
