Kansas City man killed in motorcycle crash on I-35 in Kearney
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City man was killed after he was ejected from a motorcycle on Interstate 35 Friday night in Kearney, Missouri. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at about 7:45 p.m., a 27-year-old man was driving a 2023 Harley Davidson Street Bob 114 motorcycle southbound on I-35 when he went off the left side of the roadway and hit a guardrail. MSHP said he was then ejected from the motorcycle and became entangled in the cable barriers along the sides of the highway. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by Kearney paramedics at about 7:55 p.m. According to MSHP, this is the 15th fatal crash and 17th fatality for Troop A this year.
