Jury determines man under influence of mushrooms ran red light, caused deadly collision
A man from Clackamas County, Fullington William Frazer III, was found guilty on Tuesday of causing a deadly car accident in 2023 while under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms. Frazer was speeding through a red light at 60 miles per hour in his Dodge Caliber when he crashed into two cars, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. One of the victims, Mitchell Scott Barr, was Frazer's roommate who was with him in the car. Additionally, the crash injured the occupants of the other vehicle involved. Prosecutors noted Frazer's erratic behavior following the accident, including his apparent confusion and lack of recollection. A toxicology test revealed the presence of psilocybin mushrooms in Frazer's system. His sentencing is scheduled for May 2.
