
Julian Fleming, ex-college football player, accused in girlfriend's ATV crash death
A former college football player who played for Ohio State and Penn State has been arrested in connection with a fatal ATV accident that claimed the life of his girlfriend. Julian Fleming, 24, turned himself in to authorities and is facing charges including homicide by motor vehicle and DUI, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The incident, which occurred on May 23 in Columbia Township, resulted in the death of Fleming's girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, 23. Fleming, who cooperated with police and submitted to a blood-alcohol test, maintains that the accident was unavoidable. Fleming, a wide receiver, played five seasons of college football, with his most successful year being in 2022 while at Ohio State. Despite going undrafted, Fleming is continuing to train in the hopes of joining an NFL team, as stated by his defense lawyer, David Bahuriak.
