The incident took place around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, according to an airport representative. The airport spokesperson stated that during pushback, an error by a ramp worker caused the airplane's wingtip to collide with windows covering a storage area at Applebee's. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the damage was limited to three windows and the wingtip. JetBlue flight 1282 bound for Boston had to return to the gate, and the airline arranged for another plane to continue the journey.
