
ISP: 1 dead, 1 critically injured after Delaware County crash
Update (11:38 a.m. on April 29) According to officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation, all lanes are now open after Tuesday morning's crash. Original Story DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. -- One person is dead and another was critically injured after a Tuesday morning crash in Delaware County. Officials with the Indiana State Police said that two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash at State Road 67 in between County Roads 600 West and 700 West. The crash, which caused the vehicles to catch on fire, closed all lanes of State Road 67. Officials with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office said that the Indiana State Police will be the lead agency for the investigation into the crash. However, multiple units with the Indiana State Police and the Delaware County Sheriff's Office were on scene. Indiana State Police officials said that State Road 67 is currently closed as the investigation continues.
