Iowa Lakes baseball team returns to the field after deadly bus crash
The Iowa Lakes Community Baseball team returned to action Friday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, marking its first appearance since a tragic bus crash last month that killed 19-year-old Carter Johnson and injured 32 others. In a Facebook post, Iowa Lakes wrote, "As our student-athletes continue to heal following the recent accident, returning to the field represents the strength and resilience of this team."The team had been on its way to Arkansas for a series of games when the bus left the roadway and rolled.
