Investigation underway into fatal pedestrian collision
Authorities are currently looking into the tragic incident where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle over the weekend, as reported by a press release from the Albuquerque Police Department. The police department's Fatal Crash Unit is stationed at the site of the collision at Montgomery and San Mateo boulevards NE. Meanwhile, the eastbound lanes of Montgomery are temporarily shut down for the investigation process. According to a recent update from APD, a pedestrian in the crosswalk was hit by a white Toyota Tundra making a right turn from the northbound San Mateo right turn lane onto Montgomery.
