Investigation underway into fatal Memorial Drive crash
Authorities in DeKalb County are currently looking into a fatal incident that occurred close to the county jail. The incident took place at the junction of Covington Highway and Memorial Drive. Reports from the DeKalb County Police Department indicate that an individual was hit by a car at that spot. Aerial footage from SKYFOX 5 captured multiple police vehicles at the Exxon gas station near the intersection, with a severely damaged silver vehicle in the lot. The victim has not been identified, and further details about the crash are being investigated.
