Investigation underway into fatal hit-and-run involving pedestrian in Tampa
The suspect who caused a fatal hit-and-run in Tampa on Monday night has been apprehended by the police. Jeramey Sanders, 30, was arrested the following day after investigators linked his gray Volkswagen Tiguan to the incident. Sanders was found near an ATM close to W Hillsborough Ave and N Armenia Ave. The collision occurred around 8 p.m. near N 50th St. and E 30th Ave. Chief Lee Bercaw commended the detectives for acting swiftly in arresting the suspect.
