Investigation underway into deadly head-on collision in Washington County
A fatal head-on collision occurred in Washington County on Monday morning, resulting in one fatality. According to a statement by Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, the accident took place in Mount Pleasant Township on State Route 18 around 10 a.m., involving a southbound vehicle and a pickup truck. Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle was driving recklessly before crossing the center line and colliding with the pickup truck. The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Mount Pleasant Township Police are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
