Investigation underway into deadly accident on State Highway 45
The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking into a tragic accident that occurred on State Highway 45 earlier on Tuesday morning. The crash involved a single vehicle, a Chrysler PT Cruiser traveling westbound near Turnersville Road. The car veered off the road and rolled multiple times. Authorities are uncertain about the cause of the accident. Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene and attempted to save the driver, who sadly passed away. The driver's identity has not been disclosed. As a result of the investigation, one eastbound lane of SH-45 was closed for an extended period, leading to potential delays for drivers in the area.
