Investigation underway in Colonie for deadly pedestrian accident
A pedestrian-car collision on Route 9 in Colonie, NY, resulted in a fatality and prompted the closure of all lanes. Lieutenant Thomas Breslin of the Colonie Police Department confirmed the tragic accident. The closure was initially reported at 5:12 a.m. and affected the stretch between Latham Circle, Troy Schenectady Road, Erin Street, and NY State Route 2.
