Investigation underway for potential sabotage in Air India plane crash
The Air India plane crash investigation is ongoing, with Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol mentioning that the possibility of sabotage is being considered. After the probe by the AAIB began and analysis of the black box data from Air India flight 171 commenced, additional angles are being explored in the crash. The tragic event took place on June 12, when the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft crashed shortly after departure from Ahmedabad, resulting in the fatalities of 241 individuals out of 242 onboard. With the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau taking the lead, efforts are being made to decipher the sequence of events leading up to the crash, which may have been caused by factors like power loss, engine failure, system malfunction, or human error. Collaboration between Indian and US experts in the decoding of the black box data is underway to glean more insights.
