Investigation underway for motorcycle accident on I-481
Authorities in the town of Clay, NY, are currently looking into a motorcycle incident with the assistance of the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office. On July 24, 2025, around noon, deputies responded to a motorcycle collision on southbound I-481 near the Henry Clay Boulevard overpass. The male adult rider lost control of the motorcycle following a suspected blowout of his rear tire, resulting in his ejection from the bike and sustaining serious injuries. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital in downtown Syracuse, where he is in serious but stable condition.
