Investigation underway for hit-and-run crash in Colorado Springs; one person seriously hurt
A hit-and-run crash occurred in Colorado Springs at the intersection of East Woodmen Road and Bannling Lewis Parkway around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, resulting in serious injuries to one person. The incident involved two vehicles, one of which caught fire. Fortunately, bystanders came to the rescue of the individuals in the burning car. The passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene on foot, but the police have leads on suspects and expect to make an arrest soon.
