Investigation underway for fatal crash involving one car
Authorities in Ada Township are currently looking into a single-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a man in Kent County. The incident was reported after a Kent County Parks employee discovered a car in a ditch on Pettis Ave. near Dogwood in Ada Township on November 1. Law enforcement responded to the scene and found an 80-year-old resident of Ada deceased in the vehicle. It is suspected that the crash happened either in the early morning or overnight, with speed potentially playing a role. The Kent County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Unit is actively conducting an investigation into the matter.
